I did this little 5X7 in my class with Jini James. I had a lot of fun with it. Some imperfections exist but I intend to just let them be. I love the intensity of the look.
I just found your blog via your comment on my dear friend Linda Blondheim's recent post.
What fun to see your painting progress. I especially like the piece with the boy fishing and the gorgeous tulip and zinnia with butterfly in orangey tones. All the best to you in your art.
After 60+ years, I have finally discovered my passion! I love painting as the process totally absorbs me and the results surprise me! As a retired nurse, wife, mother and now grandmother, painting affords me an opportunity to express myself in a total different manner. A whole new world has opened to me and I am even more aware of how beautiful and precious life is. I am reading and painting every day and I have been fortunate to have so many people help me on my journey. I have attended workshops by Gregg Kreutz, Susan Sarback, Stacy Barter, Gay Faulkenberg, and Terry Norris
